A lot of people ask me the secret to me being so energetic. I am almost 60 and I feel like 30 years old. I work 10-12 hours a day and, I have a very active social life as well.

1. Start the day with a Positive and Enthusiastic attitude :
I have this written on my goal statement and I read this with my goals every morning without fail. It trains my subconscious mind to keep supplying me with unlimited energy.
2. Use positive words :
When I come back home no matter how tired I am, I never say “It was a hectic day, I am dead tired”, rather I tell myself that “I had a terrific day”. It helps me feel accomplished and if something didn’t go my way I tell myself that I learned something today. Have you ever seen James Bond tired in the movie? He will dodge bullets, and fight his way to come out as a winner all the time.
3. Meet people like you are meeting your dream customer.
Pass on the energy and enthusiasm in return, it will energize you. When people ask me how am I doing, my answer to them is “always good” or “Bahut hi jyada Badia”. It pleasantly shocks people because they are used to answers like ” kat rahi hai” and I have seen how my response helps me share my positive energy with them. Always remember, no one is ever interested in knowing about your business, family or health problems.
4. A balanced diet is very necessary :
You are what you eat. Our body replaces most of the cells in approximately 6 months. If you are eating junk, overindulging in drinks and smoking, your body will become acidic and sick in a few years and you will feel depressed and lethargic all the time.
5. A little exercise is a must
Spend only 10-15 minutes a day if you can’t walk/ jog 5 km every day or go to Gym. 15 minutes stretching exercises will increase your energy levels 100%.
